CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO

Laura growled lowly,

"I've had enough of that bastard." She gritted out, as she and Larry got into her car.

Larry shrugged, then ruffled his hair.

"I'm bound to it till I die Laura. There's nothing I can do about it."

Earlier on when Douglas had asked Larry to talk about the second prophecy, Larry had found himself unable to talk.

Douglas laughed sardonically when Laura tried to prod it out of him.

Laura was frustrated and Larry looked like he was about to burst into tears when Douglas asked her to stop.

"He can't say anything about it, Laura. Neither can Caleb. Even Mendez sitting there cannot ask questions about it. I'll do the same to you if you continue pandering me."

Laura growled.

"I'm Alpha," Douglas whispered menacingly, lacing his tone with dominance. "You will respect my decisions and stop questioning me."

Snarling Laura stomped out of the conference room.

"Get out!" Douglas barked, making Larry jump to his feet and scurry after Laura.

"Now we can discuss tactics," Doug
