Chapter 46

Ryler’s POV

“There was a hint on where Edgar is hiding. We managed to capture his wife, Elise Zavala.”

My brows furrowed. I know I sent some of our people on a mission this week to investigate about the whereabouts of Edgar. I was only planning to check if he is nearby. I did not expect my people to capture his wife.

My eyes darted to Ezra. She looks surprised and at the same time worried.

I take a step backward from her and inserted my hands into my pocket.

“Seems like you will be having your family reunion. Soon,” I said and turn on my back. “Bring her back to her room,” I ordered.

Roman bow his head at me, signaling that he understood what I said.

I exit the room. After the door shut behind me, I overheard what she said from the inside. I look over my shoulder to eavesdrop.

“D-Did you catch my mom? How is she? Is she okay? Will Alpha Ryler kill her?” she asked in a worried tone. Her voice cracked and afterward, I hear a continuous sob.
