2. Derek

I stared at the empty bedroom that was once filled with posters, trophies, medals and a floor to ceiling bookshelf that held all my favorite books, movies, video games and more awards from being in the soccer team.

It was now an empty skeleton waiting to be filled with new awards, new bookshelves and posters.

This has been my bedroom since I was born. It felt strange seeing it so bare with nothing but indents on rug that showed were my bed sat upon once and where my desk once used to be filled with notebooks, pictures and also held my computer.

"DEREK!" I heard my name being yelled and I closed my eyes before reopening them again and grabbing my backpack from the floor before exiting the room.

"Guess this is goodbye" I muttered to myself looking back into the room before closing the door and closing a chapter of my life that I will miss.
