MELINA’S POV

I hated myself for not being able to block Dwane from controlling me, I tried frowning at him but couldn't since I was being controlled by him.

The forced smile on my lips was making my cheeks pain, we entered the meeting hall and I lost interest in going further, I had a son to mourn but here I was being controlled by Dwabe's power to attend a stupid meeting.

We settled down and I was still wearing a fake smile, my cheeks and chin. I mind linking Dwane and trying to get him to stop controlling me. he looked at me with a smirk, shaking his head in a negative way before facing what he was doing.

The meeting was boring to me as I had no intention of being there in the first place. I looked at Dwane again but he was less concerned about whatever I had to say, his smile spread brightly and his laughter was so loud it was like he was having so much fun, sometimes I wonder if the death of our son ever hurt him because he doesn't behave like he is hurt.
