Grayson returned to the buffet hall with a forced smile on his face after his unpleasant exchange with his ex girlfriend. Kathleen didn't look happy, her eyes had a gloom to it and he would know cause she avoided making contact with him, he took a seat and another one of his staffs made a joke which made everyone laugh except her.

‘Kathleen would you like to make a toast??'. Ophelia urged.

‘No', she murmured, ‘Someone else should do it'.

Grayson frowned as he wondered what the change in her ambience was, a few minutes ago she was all cheerful and now she looked like she just wanted to leave. He cleared his throat and took it upon himself to make a toast, so he rose to his feet and raised his glass to which everyone cheered—except Kathleen.
