Tanner was visually devastated. He really did think we were lying to him about his wife. I felt bad for him but at the same time this bastard did smash me in the back of the head, so my sympathy only went so far. “Why would she do this? I cannot believe you were not lying to me after all. I married a monster, didn’t I?” Tanner began sobbing I turned my back trying to give him a bit of privacy.

“Oh my God my children! What if she is on some rampage and she winds up going home and hurting them?” Tanner cried out. I tried reassuring him. “I highly doubt that very much, she seems to only attack people who do not do what she wants. I do not know why she came back here to burn down the cabin, she must not know we are no longer staying here. Look I will give you a pass this time but if you ever come after me like that again one of the many men around me will kill you do you understand?”
