What just happened here?

I staggered slightly as my back hit the wall at my back. My heart was beating out of my chest and tears were all over my forehead. I gasped again and tried to stabilize my breath, but that didn’t seem to be happening.

“Did the boys get punished because they tried to help me?” I asked myself over and over again, blinking my eyes rapidly to be sure that I wasn’t having a dream or a sort of hallucination.

Just then, I recalled the words of the Alpha King and unknowingly, my heart skipped a beat.

He had a cold and scary trait that always made me shiver each time he stood close to me .

Just as he walked away from the room, he had leaned close to my ears, to tell me that he would deal with me in a way I never imagined.

That was enough to scare me, but surprisingly, I wasn’t perturbed about that fact.

The only thing my heart could think of at the moment was my mates.
