Kayla pointed out that she had something to say to me and inasmuch as I was enraged at the moment, I could tell that whatever it was that bothered her was quite serious.

“What do you have to say?” I finally asked, lifting my eyes to stare at her terrified look.

She swallowed hard and stood up, dug her hands into her head and blew out hot air. It was clear that she was trying so hard to figure out the exact way to kickstart the conversation.

“Well, something is wrong with this forest and whatever it is did this to them”, she said while i folded my hands to my chest and looked at her.
