Chapter 14. Caramel

CARAMEL

I couldn't believe what was happening, right now as it was hard to snap out of the shock. As Blaze's car skidded to a halt, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. A moment ago, I was reminiscing the fun time I had. But suddenly, I felt sick to my stomach as I saw the other driver coming at us at a great speed, the car seemed out of control. I hoped for the best, but I feared for the worst.

“Oh, my God. Do something, Blaze.” I screamed in fear.

He seemed to have been shocked as well and my screams, snapped him out of that. Thankfully, we managed to avoid a catastrophic accident, I breathed a sigh of relief as I saw the other car speeding off into the distance. We were both shaken, but we were safe, and that was all that mattered.

Blaze and I sat in silence for a few minutes, processing what had just happened. I couldn't help but think how lucky we were to have escaped unharmed.
