Chapter 16. Blaze

“I…I don’t know. I also don’t know. I saw her going out, earlier and I haven’t seen her since then. I thought she could have gotten back, since I stayed in my room.”

“Did she take her belongings, along?” I asked, out of worry that she could have left the house, because of the move I made on her, last night.

“I…I didn’t take note of that. What’s going on? It’s not like she left or something.” Stephanie said.

“Just shut it!” I barked at her, then went to my room.

I dialed her number, multiple times, but she wasn’t responding to her calls. Could she have truly left the house, just like that? It was really disturbing, and usually, I wouldn’t care, but she left without a word and I can’t tell if she had gone, or not. I decided to wait until evening, before I came to a conclusion.

An hour later, I got a text from Caramel and it made me feel relieved, seeing that I got a text from her. But to my horror, when I opened the text, it read:

“If you want to get your lo
