Logan's POV

"A skilled healer saved the Princess?" I couldn't help but think aloud as the royal physician's words sank in.

I grunted as the picture of the small doctor came to my mind. There she was again, I was just trying to get her out of my life. Why did she always come to mind anytime something spectacular happened?

The Princess was poisoned and she was in the picture again. This was too much of a coincidence.

"Go on without me. I must be somewhere, I need to confirm something, take care of Lian," I said to my father and galloped out of the woods.

I rode my horse like a maniac, tearing down the uneven terrain.

In no time, I was at the hospital. I dismounted from my horse and marched through the wards. I made my way to the traditional department, shouting the small doctor's name all the way.

It was late in the night but I didn't give a damn. I burst into the potion room and I was surprised to see most of the students were still at work, they were mixing some stuff.
