Chapter 25

Logan's POV

"Lian?" I asked, I called out, unsure of what I just saw.

It was the beginning of a new day, the sun was just starting to rise.

I had checked on Lian alongside my mother earlier, but she was asleep and I wasn't allowed into her bedroom.

But now, I was in my room staring through the window. I caught sight of someone standing on my patio, it was Lian.

"I must be seeing things," I said to myself and rushed out.

"I miss you, Logan… I didn't want to miss our morning squabble, I came to say hi as usual," Lian said in a whisper as I stared at her blinking my eyes in utter shock.

"What the heck! You're driving me crazy!" I snapped and helped her in. I pushed her into one of the seats in anger.

"What the heck!? You should have sent for me or mind-linked me. You know I will definitely come to check on you. You should have waited. You ain't up for this!"
