Logan's POV

I have been expecting Beta Peter to come to see me privately, but he hasn't shown up.

I still wondered why he lied to my father about my visit to the hospital. I was sure he definitely saw that I went there to question the small doctor.

Although his action was questionable, he saved the small doctor. If he had told my father that I went to question her, she wouldn't be safe.

Father would have commanded that she should be dragged down for questioning irrespective of her condition.

As far as I was concerned, I still wanted to have a full grasp before deciding on what to do. If she was indeed guilty, I wouldn't hesitate to turn her over for punishment.

The punishment for such an offense is death by hanging.
