Chapter 39

Logan's POV

I couldn't believe Lian dragged me down to the woods to show me her wolf. Well, she did well. I was able to take my mind off my worries and enjoyed some exuberance.

With the full moon in its full glory and our wolf eyes shining bright. The night was as bright as day. But I knew the night was far spent as we had spent much time in the woods.

Realizing we were deep in the woods, I began to lead Lian back. It was time to return home.

We raced through the woods like the beast that we are. Our wolves panting and making zoomie moves.

Before I knew it, we were back at the field of lilacs and I was standing in front of the cave where it all started. It was where I was saved by a woman and deceived by another.

I groaned, relishing my anger. I felt deja Vu down my spine. It all felt like yesterday and I was compelled to revisit the cave- maybe I could remember some of the missing puzzles.
