Logan's POV

"Take your hands off the investigation," father said coldly.

I had just returned to my chambers after making my morning bows when one of my father's guards rushed in right behind me.

My guards announced his presence and I let him in, wondering why my father sent him.

Bowing his head slightly, he relayed his message.

"Alpha Lucas, summon you, my Prince."

"Really? I just left his presence… alright I will be right there," I said and the guard bowed and took his leave.

Walking back to the Alpha's office, I wondered what could have gone wrong. I just left his presence. If he wanted me to return, he could have mind-linked me.
