Chapter 54

Logan's POV

I had a short reverie, it was such a sweet and pleasant one. But it was short-lived.

A great light shone from nowhere, illuminating my darkness. My vision cleared out immediately and I snapped out of it.

When my eyes fluttered open. The first thing I saw was the bottle of beer on the stool. I did not remember putting it on the stool. Immediately, I became alert and took in my surroundings.

I was lying naked on the floor of the cave. My body was full of perspiration and something else- there was grime down there.

I slapped myself, trying to figure out if I was still in the dreamland or reality.

"Stan!!!" I screamed out my wolf's name and sprang to my knees trying to remember what shit I did again.

My eyes darted around and I saw my clothes, they lay strewn on the floor and I just couldn't remember dropping them there. When did I even pull them off?

Argh! I yelled in frustration as I hurriedly pulled on my pants.
