Chapter 14 decisions 

I finished the steak and put on the shirt. I glanced around and realized that Dagon had taken me to his room. Cheeky, I thought as I grabbed the dirty plate and headed down to the communal kitchen. I washed it quickly and dried it to put away. Jinx entered and asked me how I was doing. I shrugged my shoulders and asked if anyone had a cell phone. He shook his head and told me no. I glanced over at the window to see another day coming to an end.

"Are the wolves running tonight? Did they mention anything?" I asked, willing to do anything to keep my thoughts of Noah far away. Jinx said they were all too tired from the work they'd been doing on the house. I nodded and told him to be sure to thank them and triple all their pay. He smiled and told me alright. I headed into the living room area and saw the fireplace lit with a warm fire. It made me recall my time here with my brothers and older sister. Dagon was watching me.
