Chapter 65 The Possession 

My dad exited the kitchen with an odd look on his face and announced that we could get coffee now. His yellow eyes looked up at me in concern. My brow furrowed and I headed toward him.

"What's wrong dad?" I asked curiously and he grins and rubbed his hand down my arm.

"Just know that all will turn out for the best, okay kiddo," he grins and I nod, wondering if Rune told him what I had decided on about Noah. I didn't press it and asked if he'd poured himself a cup. He nodded, lifting a steaming cup I hadn't noticed. Smiling, I entered the kitchen and saw Rune and a crying Ezra hugging him tightly. The pair were outside on the porch. Rune turned and saw me in the window and smiled at me. I grinned slightly and he winked. I laughed and began pouring cups of coffee for our guests. I kept my eyes on Ezra's odd behavior.
