Chapter 72 The Truth Is Mind Numbing 

The Western pack reminded me instantly of home; it was even set in the same layout as my father's pack in Siberia. There were pack houses around a town center with a fish pond. Children were feeding them with pellets and joyous giggles filled the air making me smile. I squeezed Noah’s hand and he grinned down at me but it didn't reach his eyes causing me concern. "Did he have a bad break up with this Jax fellow, wolfy?" I asked Adria within my mind and she told me she didn't know and neither had Remus. I chewed on my bottom lip as we continued down a paved walkway towards a lovely Victorian isk house tucked away between large silver birch trees.

"I don't think this is wise," Noah mumbled and I eyed him as I pulled on his arm.

"You look like Rune, perhaps he hasn't been told about your soul transfer," I offered and he grew stern. He nodded and continued. We headed up the stairs to the porch and Noah asked me to knock.

"Do I look presentable?" I asked curiously and he glanced over at me
