Chapter 69 Bitter Bitch

I noticed that my son Faust was sitting alone sipping on a glass of wine all by himself. He felt my eyes on him and glanced over at me. He gestured if he could join me and I nodded. He walked up and lifted one of the unoccupied chairs carrying it over next to me.

"No luck finding a female,'' I asked him pointedly and he shrugged.

"Aren't you worried about waking up dad?" He asked, changing the subject. I grinned slightly and shook my head.

"The man can sleep through a volcano erupting," I said softly and Faust laughed.

"Do you think Faelon is the way he is because I wasn't, well Noah and I weren't there to raise him?" I asked curiously. What Noah had said bothered me. Faust looked at me and sighed.

"Hearing of dad's death shook him more so. I think that was a pivotal piece that broke him. His demon side has fallen and that's unheard of even in hell. Lucifer is learning much from his existence," he said sadly.
