Chapter 31- No Waiting

"Calm down,ma'am" the police woman advised. "Go and sit down over there,I will call you when it's your turn" she pointed to a seat where some people were seated. All of them looked sad. It was like they were there for something serious. Of course, no one would visit a police station for fun but the number of people seated there seemed much and that was strange.

Grace couldn't argue though she didn't like the 'I will call you when it is your turn' response from the police officer. She scurried over to the seat and took the available space beside a woman.

The woman was holding a picture of a small boy. She wiped tears off her eyes intermittently. Grace thought the woman must be there to report the boy missing. Her curiosity pushed her to talk to the woman.

"He's your son?" Grace asked the woman.

"That's Andrew, he went missing on his tenth birthday" the woman cried. Grace pondered over her response. It seemed to have happened a long time ago the way she spo
