Klaudia's Pov "A promise?" Hector mumbled lowly. How could we promise to not fight for her and Alexander when we knew the consequences? "Yes a promise." Maverick said loudly. I tried to hold in my anger from him clearly listening in and instead forced a smile towards Ariella that I knew didn't reach my eyes. "I promise that I won't break you guys up. I ju." My chest tightened as I stared at the bond that just sealed my fate. "When did he create that?" Ariella asked quickly. I slowly looked up at her with helplessness and hope that I knew was false but I couldn't help it. "When time reset my love. I needed to make sure he didn't betray us."

Ariella's Pov The smile I had slowly left as I looked at everyone's pale faces. The way they all frowned at my idea had me narrowing my eyes. "So you don't want to be loyal?" I asked lowly. Maverick agreed that it was a great idea so I don't get what the problem was if he was willing. "Of course we do but you have to understand that it's hard." Klaudia rushed out with desperation. I pressed my lips as I stared in her eyes that held so much fear in them. "You want me to break up with Maverick and go back to Alexander?" I asked lowly. The way her eyes glossed over had me gritting my teeth.

Ariella's Pov The defiance in Hectors eyes instantly left and in its wake was fear. So much fear that had me baffled because I just told them I wouldn't kill them if they were loyal.
