Ariella's Pov

The defiance in Hectors eyes instantly left and in its wake was fear. So much fear that had me baffled because I just told them I wouldn't kill them if they were loyal. He made his choice and now he was scared.

"Please Ariella. We won't allow you to become tortured by Alexander ever again. I promise, so please put the sword down." Klaudia stated desperately.

I looked at her desperate eyes and gritt my teeth. "You can't promise that." I stated lowly. Who did she think she was? Did she think she had the ability to beat Alexander now that he held all my power?

Hope shined in her eyes from my words that I would soon squash.

Unfortunately she spoke before I could. "Yes I can. I won't ever let him or anyone hurt you again. We can all promise that we will never allow Alexander to lock you away or torture you again."

A small smile formed that she most likely read wrong. The smile she gave me had me chuckling and pointing the sword at her.
