CHAPTER THIRTEEN

We walked to the house without saying any word to each other. My mind was still racing and I couldn't still believe what just happened. It was not like it was a new thing, it was just that it was the first time I experienced something horrible like that, a gun pointed at me and all that.

I have never experienced that in my life. I felt so bad because it was all my fault, if I had not gotten hurt we would not have had any cost to go out that night and Daniel wouldn't have been hit. The thought of the guy hitting him made me furious and sad and a tear dropped from my 76. As we got home I slumped on the couch, Daniel went to the bathroom to ease himself.

What a day! I thought sighing. After some minutes he came into the sitting room and sat beside me taking my hand.

"I'm so sorry for what happened, for the terror you passed through" he said.

"You don't have to apologise it's all my fault and you are the one who got hit, look at your face all swollen, poor thing" I cried.
