I couldn't shake the eerie sense of familiarity as she entered the room, her steps commanding me to retreat. I couldn't help but ask if there was a problem, for her piercing gaze seemed to suggest she wanted me dead. Her presence exuded dominance, leaving me unsettled.

“Little did I know, when I spotted you earlier at the office, I foolishly mistook you for a mere janitor. I had forgotten that cunning individuals like you would go to great lengths to achieve their desires. Was this how you wormed your way into his bed, pretending to be an ignorant maid, hoping to one day seduce him?”

It wasn't her harsh words that bewildered me, but the fact that she claimed we had met earlier that day at the office. She couldn't be mistaken, as she knew I worked as a cleaner. Yet, no matter how I tried to recall, the memory eluded me.

She paused, then burst into laughter. "I can see you no longer recognize me. Is it the makeup or the outfit?" she asked, glancing down at herself.
