The night had quickly arrived. Sunni and Hana were dressed up at home and ready to leave.
Both of them went down the stairs and down the building as they met kelvin waiting outside with his bike. He looked up at them with a smile.
"You...you don't have to come, I didn't tell you to come pick me up" Hana stated.
"I don't have to wait for your signal before coming to pick you up, it's my responsibility" He stated as sunni smiled at the lovey-dovey couple.
"Sunni, isn't Lucas coming to pick you up?" kelvin questioned as sunni simply smiled.
"No. You two can get going, I'll be there" She said.
"But why isn't he here? are you two okey? tell me did he bully you?" Kelvin inquired as Sunni smiled again.
"Thanks for your concern, but you have a girlfriend who needs to be sent to don't waste your time on me, okey?"
"But still..
"What do you want?" Leo asked turning to look at sunni. Sunni slowly walked up to him."I want to save Lucas, and so do you" She spoke confidently as he smiled."And where on earth did you get the absurd idea? What makes you think I'd want to save that jerk. You should be aware that we're not in good terms.....""I overheard your conversation with Mr wan last night at his office" She said looking him to the face. "And I could tell your reluctant attitude when it came to the idea of killing him. Although I couldn't see your expression, but I could tell it's not what you planned. You hate Lucas...you despise him for taking what's yours and taking the attention away from you but you can't bring yourself to killing him"Leo looked at Sunni. "You're just making things, Don't talk as if you know anything.....""If you had wanted your little brother out of the picture...you would have d
At that Moment when you open your eyes ...and slowly...you think you can't see clearly...the feeling that you're incomplete...the feeling that somehow... you're not yourself anymore.... it was the feeling that one couldn't explain but Sunni tried...and with smiles **sunni's point of view** The hospital seemed busy today....Just exaggerated. Let's say that those who cared about me seemed to be busy today.. From a distance I stood, I watched the hospital bed being rolled quickly through the hospital corridor and to a room of it's own...Don't mind my poor descriptive but this was all I could come up with. I could hear beeping sounds.... Cries from literally every corner of the hospital...and of course...I think I heard Cries.. It was so vivid from where I stood at the corridor where the previous rol
Sunni quickly flipped open her eyes with a heavy panting as if she had just woken up from a nightmare. She jerked up from the bed she lay as she quickly sat up. Her head was aching so she massaged it with her hand. Now she took her time to look around the room she was in..This place was probably a hospital room. But why the hell was she here?? Wasn't she dead? yes, her body was announced dead! and she had gone to Lucas's godfather to make her soul perish after she had given back the instrument. But then why is she In this room and dressed in a hospital wear? Maybe she was in the afterlife. and it was like this? yeah! maybe! Just as she tried to settle with this thought, the door opened and Lucas walked in. Lucas?? Lucas with a bright smile all over her face and a tray of nicely cut apples walked up to her and served it on the tab
Gotcha!" The twenty-year-old girl behind the cashier's counter snapped grabbing the middle-aged man who had come to make the payment by the hand. She stiffened her expression, perhaps to look more professional and fearful but in summary, she was cute. She was Yang Sunni by name. She had a petite body structure which prevented her from being tall. She was a bit average in height but appearance would say she was younger than her age. "Hey! what's wrong with you?!" The man who was held by the hand inquired. His eyes widened in shock. "Tell that to the cops when you're in jail" She smirked. Working part-time in I restaurant was Sunni's way of helping out herself and her friend in the little way she could. Luckily, she was employed in this not-so-famous restaurant as a cashier. It was a so-so job for her although it wasn't her dream job. It still paid nicely. At the very moment, it was a bit too obvious that attention had be
"Turn around! Can't you see you knocked someone down?! Can't you say sorry or are you blind?!" Slowly the man turned to look at the fussing girl. He slowly pulled down his sunglasses revealing his beautiful eyes. He said no words but his gaze was fierce "What,? are you gonna beat me? Come on! Shameless! I'll give you off to the cops and get you beaten up nicely. So come here and apologize" Sunni demanded. The man stared at the girl. He was certainly stunned by the nerves of the girl which annoyed him "Apologize? " He repeated. "Are you sane?" "Eh? How dare you? How rude! Shouldn't you apologize? So mannerless!" Sunni continued fussing as Hana pulled her by the hand. "Enough...people are watching...." For the sake of her friend, she endured "I'll let you off this time, come on Hana, let's go" she pulled Hana by the hand and walked off. The man watched them leave as he sighed. He too had held his temper from legally d
Mum! Today's my birthday! What did you get for me?" "Uh...My child....don't be in a haste....your dad will be back soon, he's with the presents we got for you" "Really mum! Did he get me a toy car? Video game? What? What?!" "Haha haha.. If I tell you, then it won't be a surprise....so be patient okay?" .......... He lay on the roof looking up at the sky with both hands supporting his head. He heard all they said. They were in the house on which he lay on. One would wonder how he heard all they said clearly but for him, it was perfectly normal. Because he could hear from afar. It wasn't that special to him. He stared at the starry night as he sighed. The night seemed perfect. With the full moon and star. What a scenario. But it wasn't gonna be that perfect tonight because he could see it coming.
The young man was still in his black hoodie but his head wasn't covered. He strolled the street by the roadside as he looked around. He watched humans go about their activities with no expression on his face. As he strolled he stopped looking up into the sky. The sun was out and hot. He hated that. Back from where he was from, there was no such sun! But this was earth...and he had to bear the sun. It was logical that the only way of escaping the sun's wrath was going under a shelter but looking ahead, there was no suitable shelter around. He released another frustrated sigh as she strolled thr
With both hands on her hips, Sunni panted softly recovering from the shock. She exhaled looking up at the strange guy who still had his eyes on her. She stood straight looking up at him. This condition made her wonder if she was just too short or was this guy tall! "Hey, what were you thinking?" She asked but the guy said nothing. He and his gaze fixed on her as if he and finally seen the person he was in search of for years. It freaked her out. "Why did you stand in the road? Do you want to die? How can a fine Young man like you die like that....it's just not proper" she said wiping out the imaginary sweat off her forehead. He was still mute, eyes down on her as she paused, meeting his gaze. Suddenly she looked around and up at him. "Eh...well I'd like to stay and have some chit chats but I'm seriously busy right now. Okey? She slowly brought up her hands as she stood on her toes. Her right hand met his h
