Ophelia didn’t hear Noah speak next to her, but she felt his body next to hers. The sensation was too foreign to her skin as if she secluded it to only focus on the prey before her. She had no intention of harming the animal and it was reflected in her aura emitting from her body. The tiny animal held its head up to stare at the new company, it showed no signs of hostility or fright.

Ophelia grinned, extending her hands to the animal to show she had no intention of hurting it. When the bunny licked the tips of her fingers, she felt happiness rush through her. She went back to the child she was years ago, before any of this. The thrill of the hunt made her forget the rough reality she lived.
