We continued walking through the tunnel. Inspecting the floor in case the masked guy dropped anything that could be evidence or hints. I kept my guard up the whole time.
But nada.
No footsteps, no scent, not even a drop of sweat. And that sweat is the most valuable of all.
Whoever this masked guy is, he's good. Not all of our agents even know their sweat or their cologne lingering in the air could be a major hint.
At the end of the tunnel, he's still nowhere to be found. The only way out is the lift that led to the base.

Because Scout said I'm too weak to go on with the mission, we stayed at the hotel for the rest of the day. I actually feel okay, but I played along. I spent the whole day in bed. Partly because Scout forced me to and because I also wanted to remember every last detail of my dream. Hoping I would figure why do I keep getting that dream. I know that's a dream because I know it's not my memory and I don't believe in visions like in the movies. But nothing came to mind. In the end, I gave up and went to sleep instead. The next day, after Scout made sure I'm okay, we went on with the plan. It's simple really, the plan. We just have to visit the WD's base not so far from here, find out what's wrong, and fix it.
