Kabanata 21
Lumapat na lamang ang likod ni Rhezi sa kama nang hindi nito namamalayan. She opened her eyes to see Kraius and his lustful and intense gaze bore into her. Ni hindi man lamang ito kumukurap. Puno ng intensidad ang mga mata nito habang nakatanghod at maingat na inilalapag ang dalaga.
Rhezi's soft hair scattered on top of the bed. She was like portrait in her facade. Her pointed nose that was always look proud and her tantalizing eyes that were paired with thick eyelashes. It complimented her pouty lips and her small face. She was undeniably gorgeous while underneath Kraius' perfect body.
"Do you know what day is it today?" Kraius asked in a husky voice that sent shiver to Rhezi's being. Para itong nang-aakit habang nasasamyo ng dalaga ang bango ng hininga nito. Naghahalo ang alak at menthol doon. Nakakahalina at nakakadarang. Nakakanginig ng laman maging ng mga tuhod.

Rhezi was busy preparing food for her kids when someone hugged her from behind. Mabilis na nabitawan ng dalaga ang kutsilyong hawak nito nang maramdaman ang kirot na likha niyon sa hintuturo nito. "Saan ba kasi tayo pupunta?" Rhezi asked. Nakaupo ang dalaga sa kama habang pinagmamasdan si Jericho na inaasikaso ang tatlong anak."Kakain 'di ba?" pamimilosopo naman nito.Napairap si Rhezi sa kawalan. Kahit kailan hindi sumagot ng matino ang lalaki dito. Minsan naman seryoso ang lalaki na hindi rin nito maintindihan. Ganunpaman, ipinagkikibit-balikat na lamang ito ng dalaga kaysa ang kainisan. Jericho was good to her and to her kids, it was all that matter."Saan nga?!" ungot pa ng dalaga."Are you angry Momma?" pag-agaw ni Dos sa pansin ni Rhezi. Sa tatlo, ito ang unang natapos sa pagbibihis. Wearing his usual khaki shorts and printed polo shirt, while his hair was tied up in a bun which made him looked like a child star idol in hollywood.Rhezi sighed and bowed a little. She smiled lightly to the child and touched his little face. "No. I'm not angry handsome," she replied.

Hindi kayang ipaliwanag ni Kraius ang nadarama habang nakamasid sa mga kasama sa iisang mesa. Katabi ni Rhezi ang tatlong anak habang katabi naman ng lalaki si Jericho. It was the most awkward dinner that they had experienced. Kraius deadly stare was evident. However, whenever the man stared to the three kid in front of him, his expression softened."Mr. Handsome, thank you for bringing Dos to us," Roscoe asked. The boy was looking at Kraius intently.Tila hinaplos ng isang anghel ang puso ni Kraius dahil sa sinabi ng bata. His attention shifted to the kid then he smiled. He was overmelmed all of the sudden from the smiling face of him. It was surely genuine and pure while his eyes were beaming."It's okay. Dos is my friend. Right Dos?" Kraius asked. He smirked when he saw Rhezi's horror expression but deep in his heart he was mad at her."Can we be friends too?" Tres happily asked.

Rhezi heaved a heavy sigh. Her eyes pointed directly to the mirror in front of her. Contentment and satisfaction was evident in her when she hovered herself up and down. Wearing her gold sequine long gown with a long slit in front, she was definitely gorgeous. It was a V neck sleeveless that her beautiful collarbone was showing, down to her cleavage."You're beautiful, Baby."Rhezi smiled. She instantly saw her father walking towards her. She looked back and approached him. He was smiling too while looking gorgeous on his pair of Gucci Mohair Tuxedo. Her father undeniably screamed power and confidence.Her father Hernan Lagdameo was on his fifties. He was the heir of Lagdameo Hotels and the only man in their four siblings. "You did the right choice for leaving my son."Hindi na alam ni Rhezi kung ilang ulit nang umuukilkil sa isip nito ang mga katagang binitiwan ng ama ni Kraius. Hindi na rin mabilang ng dalaga kung ilang ulit nang kumabog ang dibdib nito sa pag-aalala. She was bombarded with lots of thoughts and it was giving her headache, anxiety and stress.She sighed. Trying to shrugged the thoughts out of her head. She shouldn't be affected by the man. She already ended what she had with Kraius a few years ago. At alam rin ng dalaga na tama ang naging desisyon na paglayo. Seeing how fuckboy Kraius now, she knew... she did the right thing. Hindi nakakilos si Kraius sa narinig. He was literally caught off guard. His mouth slightly opened to utter a word but his mind seemed shut, while his eyes still lingered to Rhezi's painful expression. Katulad noon, nalulunod pa rin ang binata sa malulungkot nitong mga mata.Kasabay ng pagiging tulala ng lalaki ay ang pagkalma ni Rhezi sa sarili. She used the situation to leave Kraius dumbfounded. She was pacing faster as she could. Mabilis na paghakbang na sumasabay sa mabilis ding pagtibok ng puso nito.She was desperate to be out from him. She even scolded herself for spilling those words to Kraius. Hindi na dapat iyon sinabi ng dalaga. It wasn't necessary. The damage was already done afterall. Kraius was eyeing the whole Bailey family from going out of the car. He was already tired from work and it was already late but he still find time to drop by. He watched the huge mansion from outside and familiarize the place. He didn't even know that the family wasn't inside, not until a Mercedez Benz A-class parked in front of it.He was like a stalker in his situation. Watching them from afar while he was inside of his car. Looking them intently as if he didn't want to skip any details from them. He may look desperate but he didn't care. He wanted to watch them alone than asked for his people's help.In a few minutes, Kraius saw Rhezi came out of the car. His forehead creased seeing her carrying one of her kids. Kanina pa hindi mapakali si Rhezi. She was pacing back and forth inside her room. Her hands trembled a little and her heart was beating fast. Pakiramdam ng dalaga ay may mga naghahabulan sa dibdib nito. Hindi rin ito mapanatag kahit pa ilang beses na nitong kinumbinsi ang sarili."Are you ready?"Mula sa kakabukas lamang na pinto ay bumungad ang nakangiting mukha ni Jericho. Rhezi instantly shifted her gaze and looked at the man. He was all smile while holding a travelling bag in his right hand. Halatang handa na ito sa kanilang pupuntahan."I don't know." Umiling si Rhezi. "I-I am not sure of this Dada. Dos is sick and--""Dos is not sick, Momma. You're just over reacting." Pinaikot nito ang mga mata.
