As soon as I said those words, she raised her hand in the air and swirled it, causing the gun to float in the air as the man struggled to get a hold of it.

It felt like the gun had some form of magnetic field around it, keeping it afloat and keeping everyone away from it. The act was almost immediate, making it appear as though she was in sync with what was happening around her.
