“Mom you are insane,” Mia is laughing like Adam and I are telling her a joke. “You are like 37 years old. I’m eleven. Mom this can’t be real!”

“Mia calm down, why are so you upset?” Adam laughs has he hugs our daughter.

“She’s not going to be the only child anymore,” Terry, Carson’s son, teases her.

“Terry, you are going to be her second in command one day show some respect,” Cara, Carson’s mate corrects him.

“I’m the only person in the world who can tease her until her mates comes, and now her little brother or sister,” Terry laughs.

“You’re one to talk, you are getting a new sibling a month before me,” Mia teases back.

“Oh yeah,” Terry looks annoyed.

“So mom is it safe will you be okay?” Mia asks me.

“Sweetheart, Doctor Zulu says we are fine. But thank you for caring,” I tell her. “I have a meeting with the Lady’s council, would you like to join me? You can still sit in with Dad this afternoon.”
