Slaughter

Gunshots, that was the only thing I heard while the corpses were falling to the ground. One of them was close to me, I had known him for many years. His name was Eduardo, he was the father of a young daughter, I had known and trained him for many years. I remembered everything, even though my mind was clouded by alcohol.

My head was pounding as I watched Eduardo's eyes go out forever. Down there, they kept shooting at him until they got tired. They were unleashed, they were bloodthirsty mobsters.

“Die, scum!” shouted one of them, euphoric.

The one with the biggest gun in his hands was a young man of about thirty years old. He had tattoos all over his face, dark eyes and a dark complexion. He was unleashed, with hatred shining in his eyes. He was shooting without looking at who, but had his targets clear, kill them all.

Billy crawled under the table with me. I had forgotten his existence. Damn, I thought he would be dead just like the others.
