Walking away from that forest was like taking a part of my body, as if a part of my heart had been removed. Every time I looked at some of my hunting gear, I remembered Billy. I had decided to leave even though everyone wanted to stop me, even though I knew that if I left, everyone would leave.

Because I didn't care anymore, I was totally hopeless in the war. My heart felt frozen, broken. Lysa, my memories were becoming a blur.

I was becoming a shadow belonging to the forest. I just wanted to get away.
