“Lysa...” he began to say as I lay back on my bed.
We had done something incredible, he had a tremendous talent for giving me pleasure. He was the most attractive and strongest man I had ever seen in my life. Merging together was the most exciting act. I lost my virginity to him and I'd never regret it because his strength was immeasurable and his size was equally amazing.
“I love you.” He finally said with his eyes shining as he looked at me.
How could it be that he loved me even though we had known each other for such a short time? I didn't care, my heart felt connected to his for some strange reason, it was like we had known each other all our lives. I squeezed his hand in mine.
“Can you tell me something? Remember to answer truthfully.” I said, not having put on any clothes yet.
“Maybe I can, Lysa, but remember that we just met. I love you, I know that more than anything, but it's also hard to trust you.”
“Me? I was quite offended by that statement. I rolled my eyes disapprovingly.”
“Yeah, I don't trust that when the time comes, you'll choose revenge.” He said, looking at me with his charming, seductive smile.
“That's a bit insulting.”
“But it's the truth, doll.” Said he again with his irresistible voice, I wanted to be angry, but I couldn't, even if I tried hard.
“You fear that my attachment to my old pack is very strong.” I began to say, since my memories came back, I had these doubts myself. “My alpha was evil, but not my mother and sister.”
“And if it came to that, couldn't you save them? For the greater good or for me?” he asked, turning his gaze on me.
I kept silent, I had no clear answers at that moment. I wouldn't abandon my mother if she was still alive, I loved her. The silence made him feel betrayed.
“I've to go.” I said in a fit of cowardice.
I felt trapped, I loved him as if we had known each other all our lives, but I didn't like that he was forcing me to make this decision. I took a deep breath and started walking through the house looking for the exit. He didn't chase me, but watched me from a distance. He wanted to show me that I wasn't locked up, which was very nice of him.
“Go, my dear, if that is what your heart desires.” He said in the distance, making me blush.
Did I really want to go? I didn't know, even though I asked myself a thousand times. But as I ran, I felt the freedom I once had as a child, when I was a wolf cub who barely knew the hierarchy in the pack.
I took to the streets and ran as fast as my legs would allow. I was tired, yet I kept running. The city spread out around me, grey and dreary. The opposite of Seth's mansion. I didn't obey the instinct to want to stay here, even though I was deeply in love with him.
“Hey, you.” I heard a voice say as I arrived at the bus stop.
Then I recognised him, it was my big brother and alpha of the pack. He stood there in his human form trying to hide his wolf nature. It was impossible not to recognise him, for he had rejected me as Omega, cast me out, and almost condemned me to death.
“You... What do you want from me?” I asked with tears in my eyes, I was afraid, remembering the phase when I was expelled.
“You're a traitor and a freak.” Said he with terrible contempt.
He smiled maliciously and came towards me.
“You can't hurt me, I didn't do anything wrong.” I snapped with what little courage I had left. He was an alpha wolf and I was only a weak omega.
“I can, it's my right as an alpha. I saw what you did, you little traitor. You mated with the hunters who slaughtered our own people for years.” He said sternly, looking at me disapprovingly.
“Well, I'm not one of your kind. I prefer to be alone. I want to find a way away from all this.” I said, though I wasn't sure of my own words.
“There's no going back for what you did. You slept with a hunter, I can smell it on you now, the stench is unbearable.” My brother growled and wanted to turn into a wolf, but was prevented from doing so by the crowds.
It was part of the anonymity of our world that he wanted to lure me to an even more desolate place to end my life. I saw him approach me with some kind of handkerchief. There must have been some kind of sedative in it. Then I began to run away from him and seek shelter.
The sound of the bus approaching at full speed came late to my ear. It took only seconds for it to crush me, and that was the sad end for me. I felt fear paralyse my legs, every bone in my body was frozen by the uncertain fate of death.
I didn't even have time to shout. I guess my brother would be glad he didn't have to kill me with his bare hands.
The bus was almost here when I saw him holding me and hugging me protectively to his chest. Seth carried me away from the curb in his strong arms, saving my life and keeping me from being run over by the vehicle.
I looked into his eyes as he carried me across the street, love written all over his face. He was so handsome that I couldn't take my eyes off his perfect features.
I looked around the street for my brother, but he was gone. For some strange reason he was afraid of Seth, he could smell him even though he was an Omega.
“Don't be afraid princess, I'll always watch over you.” Whispered Seth in my ear, with an incredible sweetness.
I clung to his chest to calm myself. He saved my life, even though I was running away from him, not caring about anything. I was so confused, I didn't want to get away from Seth, but the fear was there too.
Was it possible that this man really loved me? So little time had passed that I was sceptical. Seth had carried me in his arms after I had almost been run over and injured on the road. My brother could have killed me if he had a few more minutes. “Why did you do that?” I asked, my eyes watering and trembling with shock. “I told you, Lysa, that I'll always love you. You're the woman of my life.” Seth narrowed his eyes so tenderly. “I know it's hard to understand. But it's my truth, you know about the ranks and hierarchies of wolves, but you know nothing about us slayers.” That was the last thing he said before leading me back to his house where I'd be safe from my brother. Although my eyes were tired, I could see that this place had changed a lot. The men at the entrance carried large calibre weapons with which they fervently guarded the door. The murderous looks possessed an indescribable power; they had to be the other hunters. I noticed that their eyes were a mysterious amber colo
“Lysa?” asked one of the Omegas he had seen, it was not the same one from the room who had turned golden. It was another one of them, his name was Kalte, if he remembered correctly. In his human form he was tall and slender, with a prominent nose and thin cheeks. Although I did not feel like talking to anyone, I tried to smile. I did not want to make enemies; after all, it was crazy to think I was a protégé. I had to take care of myself, especially after my brother's attack. Something was not right, that wolf had changed shape, and even though I did not know if he was dangerous, my instincts told me that things were not good or normal. “I can see that you are a little scared. I know what happened to your brother.” He said and invited me to sit on the chair in that hallway. It was a tea set for the living room. Kalte waved a passerby over and asked him to bring tea for both of us. It felt good to have something warm to drink after the busy day I had had. It seemed like the emotions w
I could not believe that the causes of our suffering were due to a cruel experiment. The worst thing was that it was just the work of a manipulator who was willing to sacrifice someone from his own family. I wanted to cry, to scream, to throw objects in the air out of anger, because what I was reading was horrible. My life had been so complicated and drawn out because someone else had wanted it that way. I had suffered so much as a wolf; I was so sickly... I thought for so long that this was my problem. -I thought it was my problem for so long, I thought it was my problem for so long. -Said Kalte, his eyes fixed on me. “It's a bad joke, a tragedy.” I said and sobbed. I could not stop the tears from coming. “Wolves are intelligent creatures, far too intelligent. In this world, nothing is random, so they make sure that their hierarchies remain intact.” Said Kalte patiently. Now it all made sense to me, when for so long I had believed that my life was so bad through my own fault, beca
I marvelled at these beautiful puppies, my heart beating fast with joy. I felt a connection as soon as I saw them. There were four little puppies, they must have been almost newborns, huddled together for protection from the cold. One of them was jet black, one was light brown and the other two were brownish red. They were beautiful, I held the black one in my arms and cradled him. He looked at me with bright eyes. “Where did these boys come from?” Seth asked, surveying the people outside. One of the men answered with a shrug. “I've no idea, Seth. I'm as surprised as you're... I didn't see them, no one approached. Whoever it was must have been very fast.” He answered, stuttering. “A wolf. -Seth said, eyeing the pups suspiciously.” Why would he abandon his children? “I don't know, but I don't think it's a good idea to keep them. Maybe it's a trap, they should be taken away.” said the man, if I remember correctly, his name was Tom. “What?” I asked, horrified. “They are just helple
Seth had agreed to raise these little ones, I was really surprised. My joy was very great. Until the last minute I thought he wouldn't do it, after all he was a hunter and adopting wolf pups wasn't right for him. The days passed and he seemed more and more attached to the pups. He was a good father, I knew that. His thirst for revenge would never overshadow his love for me. We were meant to be together. But something inside me told me they needed to be with me.I had a vision, again the voice of my beautiful mother. She told me that she missed me, that she was waiting for me.The pain, the fact that her voice was in the air, made me feel a terrible longing.I sighed sadly, knowing I'd never see her again. It was so hard to have to choose between my mother and sister and the love of my life.I walked around the mansion with my puppies, looking for some peace and quiet. It wasn't good for me to be so stressed. Seth continued with his plan to strengthen the Omegas. That would be too much
The branch fell on my body, causing my transformation to disappear. I remained in my human form, bruised and battered. Breathing was difficult as the trunk crushed me. She smiled; her fur covered in blood.“You do not seem very smart” she said and laughed. “You fell into a very simple trap.”-Are you going to kill me? Why don't you break up with me quickly...” I began to say, annoyed that she was making fun of me.The Omegas learned to accept death when they were puppies. Because they did not stand a chance if an Alpha or a Beta opposed them, because we had zero ability to fight. I tried hard not to show him fear, I was not going to beg him to let me live.Another person approached me. She had hidden in the trees, I could not smell her scent. Its presence made my blood run cold, it created a great, incomprehensible fear in me. I tried to breathe again, but I coughed blood into my side again. I could not get the branch off, it was so heavy. The bark hurt on my skin, the bumps and scrat
“What you are telling me is nothing but lies. I know that witches are liars, they always want their own advantage.” I replied, refusing her offer.“Of course, that's what everyone should do. What good is life if you live it for others? Giving up your life for a cause will bring misfortune in the future.” He smiled and squinted suspiciously.“I don't have to listen to your nonsense. My cubs will warn Seth of my situation, and now that the spell has been broken, he will come to my aid.”I had blind faith that it would happen, that Seth would not hesitate to seek me out now. After all, I had been gone a long time.“You will listen, Omega.” she commanded. “We witches are powerful and the Omega must always obey the one with the most power.” She smiled mischievously. “I guarantee that obeying will save you pain. “As much as I tried to refuse, my wounds only increased my weakness. But more than that, the feeling of submission grew as my Omega powers advanced. It was as if my instinct to obe
Luvioc's scent grew stronger, and I began to run at full speed to catch up with him. My senses were more activated than ever, power coursing through my veins. Even though I was so badly wounded, my pain was diminished by the growing strength. He was my son, I felt as if we had the same blood and our bond was too strong. The way became short because I was driven by love.I arrived and threw myself into the ravine, thinking my puppy would cling to some branch. On the contrary, a group of people were contemplating a place at the top. I approached them stealthily, afraid they might be enemies; I could smell nothing but my son's scent.“There you are, Lysa, what happened to you?” Seth asked, running towards me.“Where is Luvioc?” I asked desperately. I didn't want to accept his embrace. The scent of my son grew stronger. In the middle of the crowd, a light shone through and I caught a glimpse of my little boy, sitting there, clear-eyed and staring at me.“What...?” I started to ask, but Se
