Hilda's pov

His fangs appeared long and sharp, and his canines protruded like those of a demon. Snapping at Avalor in his beast form made my heart skip beats, and I could catch every thrumbling sound my heart made in my chest.

"I'm Hilda; don't hurt me!" I pleaded as he walked slowly towards me with his reddened eyes soaked with tears.

I began to struggle with the rope I was tied to, not minding that I had tried it thousands of times. I just thought a miracle could happen, but the more I tried, the more bruises I cured.

"Nooooooooo!" I shrieked frantically the moment he was closer, with his long claws and sharp fangs looking so scary. He twisted his neck, and the sound from his neck bones echoed dangerously.

He began sniffing the air as if there were someone or something else close by or in the same room. My heart raced more the moment Lucas' words struck my mind: Avalor only wanted to take me to his kingdom and then murder me.
