"Look who we have here!" Richard came out of nowhere, pointing a gun at Avalor. Fear and panic rose inside me. In a few seconds, I began to imagine how he came to learn about all this and how he got here.

Avalor tightened his grip on me. Using me as his bulletproof while moving in a cyclic manner and dragging me around with him, I felt his trembling heart beat fast at my back.

"Leave us alone!" Richard commanded the Army officials.

I became more surprised. Why would he ask the armed policemen who are here to protect him to leave the three of us alone, knowing our real identities? My whole body began trembling in fear.
