"Speak to them, Moron!" Avalor growled murderously at Richard, his eyes flashing red as he glared at him while pointing the gun with one of his hands at him. He clamped my shoulders tightly, and no matter how I tried to free myself from his grip, my efforts remained futile.

I felt exhausted, wishing to fall to my knees. However,even if he allowed me to, my belly wouldn’t let me.

"Avalor, can’t you see I am too weak to carry on with all this? Please show a little mercy on me." I pleaded.

He remained silent and focused his gaze on Richard, whose hands were trembling while he dialled a number on his cellphone.

"I said retreat; let everyone go back to their respective units. I want everyone to leave the border immediately!" He hung up.

My face widened at the audacity his command exuded.

A few minutes later, the sounds of sirens echoed and filled the entire room. It then became evident that all the human forces were leaving the premises.
