Zac looked around but he couldn't see Hailey. It was almost time for her presentation and Natalie panicked already. Kendall couldn't sense her and he couldn't connect to her anymore, like her wolf couldn't hear his wolf, it felt like her wolf had been suppressed by an even greater force. The festival isn't on the girls' mind anymore. Finding Hailey became their priority. Alisha appeared out of nowhere and she claimed she had been in the crowd, roaming around with no specific destination because Hailey was with her family and she wasn't friends with Hailey's friends and besides, they were busy too.

Hailey's head throbbed as she slowly opened her eyes, groggily taking in her surroundings. She was in a small, dimly lit cabin, surrounded by the musty scent of damp wood and decay. Panic set in as she realized she was tied to a chair, heavy silver chains binding her wrists and ankles. Fear crept up her spine as she struggled against the restraints, but they wouldn't budge.
