Gavin’s POVGavin held Susanna’s diary in his hands with disbelief. He ran his fingers down the pink exterior and traced his thumb across her name which was engraved in gold, cursive letters.He had to admit, he was a little sad that she had to die. He had some hope that he would be able to get her back from the Slayers, but now that hope was gone. “What are you waiting for?! Open it!” Roman growled; he was being impatient and practically panting. Gavin rolled his eyes and forced the lock on the diary open. He scanned the first couple of pages in wonder. She started this diary a few years ago and it seemed as if she’s been writing in it every day. Most of the entries were about Gavin and not to his surprise, she was mainly after him for his money and reputation. It seems as if a lot of her behavior were due to her neglectful parents.
