Chapter sixty five

AMANDA’s POV

I ran as fast as my legs could carry, not looking back to give the room another glance. My heart was beating out of my chest as I tried to wrap my head around what had just happened.

“Why did I feel normal the moment I left the room area?” I asked myself as I barged into my room and locked the door behind me.

I thought of the smoke I had seen and that made me jerk with fright. Never in my life had I seen something so real and scary. I’ve heard of magic, spells and all of that but never did I witness such.

“Was there magic here?” I asked myself again as fear gripped my soul.

“What if it killed me? Was that a trap to kill me?” All these were questions that swarmed my head and the more I thought of it, the more I realized that I couldn’t provide an answer.

This made me not just scared, but curious…

I stood from my bed and paced around the room and that was when I went down memory lane.
