JENNA POV

"He got her out." Keith's voice was like a crack of thunder, his eyes blazing with fury as he stormed into the room.

His presence electrified the air, adding to the tension already thick in the room.

Eleanor rose from her seat, her composed demeanour unshaken. "Keith, calm down. We were just about to explain everything to Jenna."

Keith's gaze softened slightly when it landed on me, but his anger was still present. "Jenna, are you alright? Did they hurt you?" he asked, his voice gentler now, filled with concern as he closed the gap between us.

I shook my head, feeling overwhelmed. "No, I'm fine. But Keith, what's going on? This woman said she was my mother-in-law. I don't remember much after Yilena—" I broke off, my mind flashing back to the moment of the syringe.

Keith took a deep breath, showing how relieved he was. He ran his hand through my hair, bringing my head forward to place a kiss on my forehead.
