FIVE: FOUND

ARIA

I haven't seen Charlie since Enzo took her, I saw them comeback but without Charlie, I tried to find her around but there's no sense, I also tried to call her on her phone but I found out she left her phone on her bag.

I was getting worried, I don't want to ask Enzo or any of his friends but they are the only person I could ask since they are the last person who's been with Charlie.

I saw them on their usual spot on the cafeteria, nervous but I'm much nervous for what might could have happen to Charlie.

"Enzo" I called, all of their eyes turned to me.

"Yes?" Enzo answered.

"I just need to ask this, Charlie haven't been back since she came with you and earlier. You came back without her"

Enzo frowned a bit. "She's not back yet?" He asked back, that made me more nervous.

I shook my head, I'm already trembling.

He stood up the same time my phone rang, I looked at it to see it was Jax. I nearly forgot about him. I immediately answered his call to ask for help.

"Hello, Jax I need your help to—"

"Aria to the hospital now!" He said in loud voice.

"W-What? Jax why? I-I don't think I can go there, I still have to find—"

"I'm bringing Charlie at the hospital! I need you to be there! Now!"

"What?! Okay I'll be there!" I said loudly before I ended the call.

Enzo was about to leave with his friends but then I called one of his friends to inform them that my brother have already found Charlie.

"Hayes, I'm sorry for disturbing all of you but if you're going to find Charlie, my brother have already found her and brought her to the hospital. Don't mind searching" I said before running to leave the university.

I immediately went to the hospital my brother messaged me and look for Charlie's room. And when I got there, I saw her peacefully sleeping now while my brother was sitting on the chair beside her.

"What happened to her? Where did you find her?" I asked worriedly.

He sighed and irritation was visible in his face as he looked at Charlie.

"I was walking around when I heard her voice, so I looked for her and found out she was in the tall grass. It was damn raining and she was all soaking wet. She's lying on the ground, pale and I noticed she's having hard time to breathe so I carried her and rushed her here"

He was so annoyed, like he's ready to punch anyone.

"Is it them again, Enzo and his friends?" He asked, but before I could answer.

"No, it wasn't them" Charlie said, waking up. She wanted to sat up and Jax immediately helped her. "What did the doctor said?" She asked.

"The doctor hasn't comeback yet—"

"Thank you Jax and Aria, but I don't want to waste more of your time. You can go home now" Charlie said and smiled.

"No, we'll stay here until you get better" Jax insisted.

Charlie sighed. "Jax, I'll be better. I'll go home later"

She keeps on giving us assuring smile but Jax won't budge in. He's persistent to stay.

Charlie closed her eyes as if she's feeling nausea.

"Charlie, are you alright? What do you feel, tell me" Jax asked.

Charlie shook her head. "Fine, I'll let you stay. But could you buy me a food? I'm hungry already" She said.

You'll ever hear Charlie ask for favor once in a blue moon , so my brother looked a bit shock when Charlie said that. But he immediately nodded and asked what we wanted to eat.

Charlie suggested more veggie food then Jax asked what's mine before he left. I walked towards Charlie and sat beside her.

"What happened to you, can you tell me?" I said.

Charlie smiled. "You don't have to worry, I'm already fine now. It doesn't matter anymore, I'm already here"

"I'm feeling guilty, do you know that" I said playing with my hands.

"Huh, why?"

"If only they didn't saw my diary on your bag and didn't think it was yours, they wouldn't have bugging you"

She chuckled. "Aria, they are already bugging me ever since. You don't have to blame yourself, I told you it's fine" she said as she gave me an assuring smile.

"But still—"

"Enough now Aria, I told you I'm good" She smiled.

Just then my phone rang, I saw mom calling so I excused myself but as I was about to come out, the doctor also came in for Charlie's condition.

It took me several minutes before I managed to go back inside, but when I enter the ward, the doctor was already about to leave.

"What happened? What did the doctor said about you?" I asked Charlie.

She was looking outside the window and took a deep sigh as she looked at me, then she smiled genuinely.

"The doctor said I can go home already, he said it was just because of the heavy rain. I should take a tablet later to avoid having flu, but if I still get a flu then I should take a rest for days until I get better. But, other than that, nothing else" She said and smiled.

I released a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness, so what do you feel now?" I asked.

"I'm fine Aria, you don't have to worry" She smiled.

"Good, let's just wait for Jax and for you to eat first then let's ask for him to take you home already so you could take a rest, okay"

She only answered with a nod.

As I sat beside her, we heard her phone from her back rang, I stood up and took it to find an unknown number so I gave it to her.

She only stared at it and put it down on the table. "If that's important, that caller would text. I don't answer unfamiliar numbers"
