Chapter 48 – An Awkward Breakfast

The next morning; Caitlyn wakes up to see Lester lying face down on the notepad and pen. She gets out of bed and pulls the notepad out from underneath him; ‘pros and cons of having girlfriends to just having Caitie as my girlfriend’ is written on the top.

Pros; having someone to take to banquets and balls when I need to.

Cons; Not sleeping in the bed when we are in a hotel. Spending all my money on more than one girl. They aren’t Caitie. They don’t have Caitie’s Smile. They don’t have Caitie’s laugh. They aren’t Caitie. I really like Caitie. Caitie is better than them. I prefer to be with Caitie. Caitie makes me laugh. Caitie is more sophisticated. Caitie’s personality is better.
