It had been weeks since the last time I had a decent sleep. And that was only because I was trying to recuperate from massacring a bedroom.

All I’ve been doing for weeks is tossing and turning in a bed. Only getting an hour or two of sleep a night. It was finally starting to take its toll on me.

I noticed it during the poker game this evening. I was missing small tells. Not paying enough attention to everyone in the room. I was letting my guard down.

And not just during the poker game, but around the pack. In the territory. Around Cassar. I was sharing too much information, giving them too many details about my life. I had even been tempted to tell Cassar the story of my first car while we drove home. Stopping myself just in time.
