Broken Mug

The rays of the sun flashed in my room, reminding me of a new day. With my eyes still close, I had a rewind of what was about between me and Alpha Galan the previous night. The thought of it made my cheeks burn red like a tomato. I smiled widely from ear to ear as I thought about every bit of our intimacy.

Knowing fully well that he wouldn't be in my room right now, I stretched my hand to the other side of the bed, hitting the sheets to confirm if he was there or not but he wasn't.

Disappointment and relief washed over me as I stood up to get ready for the day, I came out of my room some minutes later only to find Mabelle outside my door.

"Miss, you're dressed already," Mabelle said surprisingly.

"And you're late." I retorted.

"I'm sorry miss, I thought you might still be asleep, knowing that you're not a morning person," Mabelle explained.

"It's fine. I'll go get water." I said, leaving my room to the kitchen only to find Alpha Galan pouring hot coffee into two cups.
