Chapter 11: Brave heart
Sunny's POV
Parker and I were sharing the same bed but seem like a wall has been built between us. I could feel the awkwardness in the air. Honestly, I am not used to this. This is the first time that someone had confessed his feelings to me. I'm shocked as hell. Even my heart kept on beating so loud and I'm afraid Parker would hear it.
He occupied the space beside the wall and I took the side within the edge of the bed. I knew that both of us are still wide awake. I am blaming my heart for this. It kept on beating an exaggerated way. Should I be afraid of having a heart attack? I guess so.
I closed my eyes and calmed myself. I felt Parker moved and turned to face me. Now, I couldn't really move. It feels like I have to hold my breath for some reason.
