Chapter 24

It was a surreal experience walking around the pack grounds, every person that saw me would go wide-eyed and stare or ignore me. I felt a sense of shame as I recognized some people’s faces from the crowd that had surrounded Luna Ashly and myself. I had failed to protect her, and they knew it as much as I did. I felt the all too familiar quickening of my heartbeat as everyone’s faces began to blur. My lips tingled as all the moisture in my mouth disappeared and I felt the urge to pass out. I looked around frantically trying to find someone familiar but could no longer recognize any of the faces. I felt my chest start to hurt as the voices and mumbling of everyone got louder in my ears, thumping against my brain. Laughter echoed out as the faces began to morph into cruel smiles as I felt my lips part as I tried to suck in air, my lungs felt like they were closing up with each passing second. I gripped the sides of my head in my hands wishing for the buzz of voices to stop

I reckon she is a hybrid. A vampire an a wolf. An that’s why she has a thirst for blood slightly. I might be wrong

Hi Hermes thank you for your feedback! I have plans for things to be explained in coming chapters but will try and add some additional details. my apologies that it seems hard to follow, could you give me some examples so I can try and rework those sections? thank you kindly

I’m enjoying this book but why all the secrets and when will we learn any of them? It’s becoming hard to follow and I’m losing interest as there’s no payoff.
