Chapter 27

I stood naked before a room of mirrors, confused at my own reflection. My once silver hair was stained in red and my purple eyes seemed to glow before me. I reached up to touch my face, the reflection followed and I felt my heart sink knowing it truly was me. I felt my body jerk as I saw my fingers had curled into what looked like claws, my arms covered in fur but looking down I could see my legs had remained human. I felt my lungs close as I watched my body jerk into old shapes as if it could not find a form it was supposed to be until it stopped abruptly. The image staring back at me was nothing like I had seen before, terrifying. I had my face but my teeth were extended like fangs, unable to sit in a human mouth they jutted out. I cried as the mirrors around me cracked and laughter filled the air.
