Chapter 35

As we re-entered the clearing I was pleasantly surprised to see nothing had changed, people were still talking and laughing amongst themselves. I grinned as Bella and Anya were still slow dancing by themselves blissfully staring into each other’s eyes as I spied Ellen making her way towards me. I gave her a wicked grin before glancing at Domini who was not looking her way.

“Hey.” She breathed nervously glancing at Domini expectantly, he did not look at her and simply nodded before walking off.

Ellen’s face dropped as I stared daggers at Domini’s back. How could he ignore her like that? His mate? How different he was acting compared to Anya or Bella.

“Domini?” I asked with a bit of that agitation, he turned to say something when he stopped dead finally noticing Ellen.

I couldn’t help the smirk as his eyes bulged and darkened before his face turned stern.

“Why the fuck are you wearing that?”
