Days had passed, Laura was getting better but still was comatose. I felt… useless. I couldn’t tell anyone what Herman had told me, I trusted what he was saying without words. I might not have understood the whole thing but I knew just how serious he was being. I let out a heavy breath not realizing I had been holding it in as I glanced at Laura, her skin was greenish now the bruising had subsided. I had been taking turns watching over her with Bella.
